Ch-149 Fleet Support Engineer
Current• Engineering Solutions: Prescribed engineering solutions to address maintenance issues and implemented proactive maintenance strategies to ensure the Canadian Search & Rescue Helicopter fleet remains operational 24/7.• Data Reporting/Analysis: Developed Power BI reports to track various engineering support tasks, providing actionable insights for process improvements. • Options Analysis: Conducted detailed options analyses for the Department of National Defence to support decision-making processes for modification of the CH-149 aircraft.• Non-Standard Repairs: Preparation and review of structural non-standard repair design and analysis on CH-149 aircraft.• Document Management: Facilitated communication between maintenance teams and the manufacturer by managing technical questions, ensuring timely and accurate information flow, as well as document control/monitoring and analysis with Microsoft Power BI.• Service Bulletin Tracking: Tracked design changes on CH149 aircraft from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Service Bulletins through to fleet compliance tracking and closure.• CMLU: Responsible for general process improvements and increased efficiencies for the maintenance program to ensure smooth transition into the CH-149 Mid Life Upgrade.• Liaising on technical matters with representatives from Operating Bases, Department of National Defense, OEMs, Design Support and Design Authorities.• Preparation of engineering reports, technical memoranda and technical directions.
