A young professional always looking for opportunities to learn. From a young age I have been interested in science and with my father being an engineer I quickly took an interest to pursue a degree in chemical engineering at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As part of my degree I participated in the engineering co-op program where I had the privilege to develop my engineering experience early.I find that engineering is more than just having the ability to solve mathematic problems but also having the ability to work effectively with your team. I have experienced firsthand how great communication, collaboration and effective management of a team can have a very positive impact on the outcome of a project.I am currently working as a process engineer with Nutrien at one of there Nitrogen production facilities producing ammonia and urea fertilizer with the focus of ensuring everyone goes home safe, every day.Prior to my move to Nutrien I was with Ausenco working as a pipeline engineer, working on various slurry pipelines that required creative solutions to transport ores such as copper, phosphate and iron.Outside of my engineering work I enjoy playing golf and traveling, given I have had the privilege to travel to many countries around the world when I was young and learn about so much about our world history.
