Co-Founder of Scoot Science. I'm an ocean scientist by training and have a background in ocean instrumentation and sensors. I'm focused on quantifying the impact of variable ocean conditions and climate change on ocean assets, particularly the coastal aquaculture industry. The goal is twofold: provide farmers with operational ocean forecasts to inform how their local ocean conditions impact their harvest; and to use ocean modeling to unlock new forms of risk transfer and investment into traditionally overlooked and underserved ocean businesses.
