As a Project Engineer I am in charge of becoming an expert on the project plans and specifications and helping relay my knowledge to all trades on site. On top of that I handle project set up and project filling and administration. Other related tasks to the Project Engineer position are; keeping daily logs and reports, reviewing and drafting Purchase orders, RFI's & submittals, organization of drop-box files, managing personalities on site, tracking work on site and ensuring deadlines are being hit.

As a first time project Engineer intern my responsibilities mainly consisted of administrative work on my laptop and servicing workers on job sites. To be more specific, I handled all material, equipment, and rental purchase orders for my branch. I also tracked employee labor and productivity through online software's and made projections for future labor output. My other responsibilities consisted of helping direct workers on site to finish tasks in the most efficient ways and making sure that workers on site had everything they needed. A final title to my internship was ensuring that the job sites were safe to work on and that employees were abiding by OSHA standards.

Learned the basic in's and out's of commercial plumbing and how to read and install kitchen, bathroom, and sewage lines throughout large scale buildings. Gained experience through watching Foremen and doing hands on labor.
