Hello! I'm Evan Grimsley, a recent graduate from Christopher Newport University seeking full time positions in Human Resources.In December of 2023 I graduated from Christopher Newport University's Luter School of Business to earn my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, finishing my degree program with a Business Management major and minors in Leadership Studies and Psychology. Alongside completing my degree I have dedicated my time outside of school to developing myself and my Fraternity, Pi Lambda Phi. Within this organization I had the privilege of serving three consecutive terms on my chapter's executive board, holding the positions of President, Vice President of Education and Development, and Vice President of Recruitment. My involvement in this organization has provided me with a space where I am able to practice leadership, team management, and organizational skills to help me grow as a young leader. While in school I also had the opportunity to complete two summer intern programs; with BAE Systems as an Ethics and Business Compliance Intern and with Canon USA as a Human Resources Learning and Development Intern. These two internship experiences have prepared me well to begin work after graduation, and as a result I have learned how to work efficiently in a professional environment and adapt to new situations quickly. This combination of academic pursuits, leadership, and work experience has provided an environment where I am able to quickly learn, practice, and apply new skills and techniques to my daily work.
