As a broadcast journalism major and a DMTA minor, with a huge interest and passion for different aspects of the field of communications, I aspire to use my past and current experiences to create an intriguing and honest form of content through the use of storytelling. Although I'm not exactly sure what I want to pursue post-college, I have an extensive background that has allowed me to use my skills as a storyteller while implementing my creative side. Currently, I am entering my six semester as a staff writer for Onward State where I write stories that highlight the many great aspects of Penn State and share the stories of other fellow Penn Staters. I also have been involved with THON for the past two years as a public relations liaison. In the fall 2022 semester, I interned for the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute as a producer for the Institute’s very first documentary, which has allowed me to use my skillset while also dipping out of my comfort zone. I can see myself as a news personality or even a screenwriter of some sort, but as I said, I am still figuring out what suits me best.
