I am a third-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in finance and accounting. I am passionate about leadership development, collaborating with others, and making a difference in my community. In high school, I demonstrated these strengths by serving as band president and co-founding United Lawn Service. In these roles, I worked with peers and customers to solve various problems throughout the year. I also gave back to my community by co-founding the Band Boys, with the goal of performing at every varsity sport's senior night. We achieved this goal through hard work and planning, playing for 15 different sports teams and at various events like the district APT board event, service awards, 4th of July celebrations, club swim meets, and the talent show. These experiences taught me discipline, determination, creativity, and leadership. At Indiana, I continue to seek new opportunities to expand my professional and personal leadership. I am enhancing my career knowledge by taking finance and accounting courses and joining student organizations such as the Financial Services Club. Furthermore, through the CFP&A Workshop at Kelley, I continue to enhance my learning and go above and beyond when it comes to corporate finance. We learn valuable corporate finance technical skills and essential soft skills by tackling real-life cases like buy and lease decisions, forecasting a recession, and investment strategies. As a member of these clubs, I build connections with professionals in my fields of interest and stay updated on global events. I am committed to expanding my network and exploring various career paths within the corporate and FP&A space.I aim to grow my involvement by joining the Bloomington Volunteer Network and becoming a Kelley peer mentor. To further develop my strengths in leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration, I look forward to engaging in a financial analyst or FP&A internship in the future. Ultimately, I aspire to pursue a career in finance or accounting, focusing on maximizing growth and improving business performance.
