➤ Assessment, preparation, and lodgement of development applications with city councils throughout Queensland. My projects range from renovation of character homes to wholesale land subdivision and inner city mixed use developments.➤ Provide site specific planning advice to prospective property investors and development firms. Create value for clients through lateral thinking and a solutions oriented mindset to drive best outcomes. ➤ Maintain current knowledge of Queensland development framework and relevant legislation. ➤ Communicate and collaborate with a suite of consultants and experts including: Architects, Civil engineers, Ecologists, Arborists, Traffic consultants, and Surveyors.➤ Build and maintain rapport with Council stakeholders to ensure developments remain commercially competitive whilst satisfying expectations of relevant legislation and surrounding communities. ➤ Provide regular updates to clients whilst interpreting and communicating feedback to relevant consultant teams.

-Developed sustainable education programming in a demanding cross cultural environment targeting school aged girls aged 11-16 with the goal of decreasing scholastic attrition rates. Using community based strategies, implemented a variety of creative projects to increase the capacity of parents groups, primary schools, educators and students.-Conducted data driven community needs assessments based on stakeholder interviews, school district data, and focus groups, utilizing translators in situations where French (the national language) was not spoken. -Created and implemented training modules in English and French for newly arrived volunteers to address the practical and ethical challenges of working in a foreign country with extremely vulnerable populations.-Communicated safety information from the US Embassy to volunteers on site as a regional security warden. On several occasions I was responsible for communicating pertinent security information to volunteers at remote sites, and remained in contact while they consolidated in predetermined locations.
