Getting my feet wet in sales taught me how to reach a win-win situation with a customer and keep a level head in crucial conversations. I performed well over double the industry average my first summer, generating over $100,000 in new business.

Assisting in teaching college students the basics of programming, data analytics, and systems administration has been a highly rewarding challenge. I am a firm believer in learning by teaching and the opportunity to help other students has reinforced both my knowledge of IS and my passion for it.

My main job at Homecare Pulse was to conduct satisfaction interviews for caregivers and their patients throughout the nation. A relatively small company, Homecare Pulse taught me how to deliver value and quality to clients.

I learned the value of good old-fashioned hard work on a farm. I was responsible for irrigation of over 1000 acres of barley, hay, and corn crops. My other duties included cutting hay, hauling and spreading manure, stacking and hauling hay and straw, operating heavy equipment, caring for dairy cows, and large equipment mechanical repairs.
