Employed as an assistant for honors calculus, probability, differential equations, and linear algebra. Graded weekly problem sets of 10-25 exercises ranging from computations to elementary proofs in order to provide regular feedback for 5-20 students. Proctored 3 honors calculus exams including one via zoom.Emailed professors to update them on student performance as necessary.Led problem sessions for between 5 and 10 students where in response to their questions I demonstrated exercises on the board or re-explained concepts from the lecture.

Worked with Dr. Patrick McDonald to investigate how Hunt processes can be used to solve associated Poisson problems using the theory of Dirichlet forms.Updated Dr. McDonald on progress during a weekly zoom meeting.Studied tens of arxiv preprints and journal articles as well as two monographs to understand the state of the art in the field.Began writing proof of an inequality for the expected exit time of continuous time random walks analogous to a known inequality bounding the expected exit time of Brownian motion and the principal frequency in terms of the Lebesgue measure.

Assisted Dr. Amanda Fidalgo with her research by collecting sub-national turnout data for six democratic countries around the world in every election post-1980. Cleaned data from a survey of Middle Eastern elites about their social and political attitudes using Stata.
