I worked with other graduate students and peers to complete projects. By the end I was leading a team of five undergraduates toward the next papers. Additionally, I mentored a pair of high schoolers who placed in their county science fair. I was trusted to teach proper technique and understanding of the processes to newcomers to increase our production of experiments while maintaining quality of data. I worked with several instruments and machines, analyzed data, and understood the principles and theory for experiments that included: Fluorescent Activated Cell Sorting, DNA transformation, protein expression, phage panning, and enzyme mapping. I performed regular maintenance duties such as biohazard disposal and inventory checks to ensure a safe and productive environment. Show less
