(Sun Catalytix Corporation prior to August 2014)Co-invented a novel electrochemical system, the Coordination Chemistry Flow Battery, as a breakthrough solution for long term energy storage, and led technology development through conception, laboratory proof-of-concept, prototype testing, and ongoing commercial product design within while working with a multidisciplinary team of chemists and engineers.• Led a discovery and screening program of new materials for electrochemical energy storage in flow batteries, and refined synthesis and formulation procedures of best candidates to meet cost, purity, and performance targets.• Managed a team of engineers and technicians in the in-house synthesis and formulation of electrolyte to support R&D battery testing, including over 500 kg currently utilized by Sun Catalytix flagship 5 kilowatt prototype in operation since July 2013. • Initiated and managed relationships with custom manufacturers for the successful production and delivery of over 1000 kg of a novel electrolyte active material, and established collaborations with global suppliers towards process development scale up to over 10,000,000 kg per year.• Participated in diligence discussions with strategic partners and potential investors by presenting scientific background and technical data in support of the business model
