Manage the daily operations, supporting a staff of 8 math instructors that oversee approximately 500 students. Organize and implement the presentation of curriculum for the transitional math department. Create courses and administrate educational based software, MyMathLab and Academic Systems Algebra. Handle the task of training new users on educational based software. Collect data and analyze success rates in the transitional math department. Run reports using Oracle Systems WebFOCUS and Banner. Interview and hire student workers. Develop and teach lesson plans. Create, update, and implement processes and procedures pertaining to Math Lab operations. Use MS Office Suite to create and deliver department and course education materials, such as course syllabi and training guides. Handle the task of training new users to use departmental software. Review and assign tutors based on students’ need and availability. Lead mathematics instructor team meetings. Complete book orders for transitional math department.

Plan, develop, modify, and deliver mathematical topics to multiple grade levels. Participate in district in-service activities and faculty meetings, including professional development sessions.

Gathered, reported, and assisted the development of data regarding Response to Intervention. Worked directly with faculty and administration to develop educational plans for students-in-need. Created and maintained a district-wide database with Response to Intervention forms and reference material.
