I built a network from the ground up with a classmate. This included the use of VMWare's ESXi and Windows Server 2019. We built a basic network providing DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and WDS using Windows Server 2019. Along with this, we built a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure using Windows Server 2019. This task was completed with four servers residing on three physical machines. About halfway through the semester, we lost physical access due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and were forced to complete the project remotely. As we completed the build, we thoroughly documented the network, including a logical network layout (unable to document physical layout due to lack of physical access during COVID-19 Pandemic), Active Directory configuration, Group Policy configuration, etc.
