I have been involved in many different roles within the custom cabinetry field over the last 9 years of my career, I began as a CNC operator in a large custom cabinetry shop, where I also learned how to operate many other machines associated in woodworking and cabinetry applications such as miter saws, table saws, beam saws, edgebanders, power tools etc. After years of acquiring those skills I was introduced to custom cabinet installation, and eventually moved into a role as a wood coatings applicator and learned high end cabinetry finishing skills, which would end up being my niche within this field, and what I have focused my career on since. I was a custom finisher for many years, operating in spray booths, doing on site built in finishing and touch ups, and also was responsible for training and managing in house finishing crews for this company. I have since expanded on my knowledge of wood coating systems as a color matching specialist and lacquer consultant for the company I currently am with, where I specialize in providing customers with knowledge about what systems are best for their application and providing high quality and consistent finish products and solutions that are also easy to use.
