I am a Senior at the University of Arizona working on a B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Biochemistry and Medical studies. I possess a strong interest in developing new medicines and expanding treatment options for those in seemingly hopeless medical situations. I had the privilege to follow this interest as an intern at Biohaven, a pharmaceutical company that specifically focuses on treatments for rare disorders. My areas of passion include genetics, mental health, neuroscience, the evolution of consciousness, psychedelic medicine, emergency medicine, trauma and critical care, and ophthalmology. I aim to participate in the Doctors Without Borders program at some point in my medical career. I am also considering becoming a Paramedic working in a search and rescue helicopter in any range of mountains around the world.I enjoy spending my time in nature, specifically climbing mountains and swimming in lakes. I also enjoy socializing and learning the perspectives of other people. In whatever career I choose, I hope to still be able to spend time with my dog and my friends (their dogs too) in the mountains.
