Managed a caseload of 30 clients, with tasks including drafting a winning brief for a Wisconsin DHS Medicaid Appeal and providing strategy for medical debt defense litigation. Researched standing and strategy for impact litigation concerning Wisconsin Medicaid. Learned relevant state and federal Medicaid statutes to assist clients in finding solutions for coverage gaps outside of the legal process.

Drafted substantive pleadings, initial discovery requests and notices Scheduled hearings and filed litigation documents in federal district and appellate courts, Illinois and New York state courts, and the American Arbitration Association Interviewed new clients, requested documents, and drafted intake report for attorney review. Communicated with court clerks, chambers, opposing counsel, co counsel and clients Filed documents in court and maintained firm docket to efficiently track deadlines, statutes of limitation, and help attorneys plan for future hearings.

Conducted daily math tutoring sessions with 14 Chicago Public School students tagged as at risk for dropping out.
