I have recently graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Most recently, I took on the project management role in my Senior Design class, in which we designed and fabricated an electric toothbrush. Within this project, I helped to coordinate my colleagues to most efficiently address the project needs. I helped match my colleagues strengths to different project requirements. I helped to set up communication flow between team members and our stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the project. In addition, I was closely involved with the prototyping and design of the toothbrush drive-train. I recommend design changes based on operation functionality and efficiency, machine parts to specifications of technical drawings, assemble the parts into a functioning prototype and, finally, engage in reliability testing of these prototypes. I look forward to using my knowledge/experience base founded upon my education to further my engineering career.
