As a newly graduated Biomedical Engineer with a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering, I am excited to begin my career at BlueRock Therapeutics. With over two years of immersive research lab experience and a passion for driving advancements in healthcare technologies, I am eager to contribute to BlueRock's mission of developing regenerative medicines for intractable diseases.Throughout my academic journey, I focused on healthcare innovation, cell and tissue biology, and cutting-edge biotechnology and biomaterials design. In Dr. Timothy Hallstrom’s Lab of Pediatric Research, I studied the impact of UHRF2 on retinoblastoma development. Additionally, I collaborated on projects to create an automated conjunctivitis detection system and a noninvasive at-home tacrolimus testing kit for post-op organ transplant patients, enhancing accessibility and reducing costs for patients.At BlueRock Therapeutics, I look forward to working with a team dedicated to scientific innovation, ethical standards, and the urgency to bring transformative treatments to those in need. BlueRock’s cell+gene platform and cell differentiation technology offer groundbreaking potential to restore or regenerate lost function in neurology, cardiology, and immunology.
