Responsible for the management of an offshore team providing IMR services to multiple clients in the oil industry. Liaise with clients as well as onshore staffing to ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. Promoting high participation in developing a very robust safety culture among all departments on the vessels including third party contractors. Taking the lead in investigating any incidents, or potential incidents and implementing new policy or procedures to avoid a repeated event. Managing all logistic movements of personnel and materials required for all projects, as well as making sure sufficient spares are in place and equipment meets certification. Responsible for making sure operations are conducted according to procedures and making sure that any unforeseen problems that arise are overcome in a safe manner and with as little impact to production as possible. Lastly, making sure all members of the team receive proper training and certifications to conduct their work tasks effectively.
