Partnered with several other companies working on the Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability. Worked on development of Community Energy Plan, conducting energy audits to classify buildings based on age and energy usage. Applied EnergyPlus Software to create energy models of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in the Lansing area. Ultimately establish an accurate profile of current energy use including energy cost and greenhouse gas emissions, then extrapolate to predict future energy use.

Developed communication skills in order to work effectively with students from around the globe on cutting edge research projects.

Was part of the Undergraduate Summer Research Experience program, worked closely with and was mentored by a faculty member. Also Assisted doctoral candidates with their research.
