Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, optimization, funding, and branding of Staples Rush Same Day Delivery. Coordinated a cross functional effort consisting of 26 teams including: retail operations, supply chain, delivery, marketing, inventory, e-commerce, order management, analytics, and public relations. Utilized an agile project methodology to design, develop, and implement a go to market solution in just 6 weeks.

Responsible for executing, analyzing, and awarding all inbound/outbound truckload & less than truckload bids to support Staples'​ North American Supply Chain. Developed and analyzed quarterly score cards for all truckload, less than truckload, and third party final mile delivery operations throughout Staples' North American Supply Chain. Managed the sourcing, negotiations, and vendor relationships for Staples’ final mile delivery courier network within Canada. Leveraged creative problem solving skills to coordinate final mile delivery options in extremely remote areas of Canada.Managed all contract administration for third party final mile couriers within the United States.

Two and a half year rotational program with exposure to several areas of the global supply chain, via assignments in the field and within Staples Corporate Headquarters.Logistics Rotational Supervisor – Service Delivery Operation (Rotation 1) Dallas, TX Obtained an understanding of the needs of a dedicated delivery fleet by supervising and dispatching over 60 delivery drivers, daily, throughout the DFW Metroplex. Developed a proactive mindset by managing all maintenance and rental needs of one of Staples’ largest final mile delivery fleets.Logistics Rotational Supervisor – Fulfillment Center (Rotation 2) Dallas, TX Gained extensive knowledge of every aspect of order fulfillment within a 350,000 square ft. Fulfillment Center containing 34,000 SKUs valued at $37 million. Rapidly advanced my leadership skills and style by supervising seven different departments and a combined 400 associates. Acquired firsthand project management experience by carrying out a “detrash” project that increased prime location capacity and SKU density by over 35%.Project Management Rotation (Rotation 3) Carrier Management: Staples Corporate Headquarters, Framingham, MAFostered strong supplier relationships through sourcing, managing, and negotiating all of Staples’ final mile delivery courier contracts, and delivery rates within Canada. Lead an international team remotely. Furthered my negotiating experience through a final mile delivery RFP, and saved a projected $300,000 annually. Leveraged creative problem solving skills to coordinate final mile delivery options in extremely remote areas of Canada.

Developed sales skills in a fast paced environment by tailoring solutions to the specific needs of approximately 50 different customers every day. Further developed time management skills through working part time while in school. Obtained world-class training in customer service and technical support skills.

Developed analytical skills and carried out a project to reduce the storage space occupied by old parts by 85%. Gained first-hand experience in an FDA regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Responded to approximately 130 calls per year ranging from emergency medical services to fully involved fires.Learned to remain calm in frantic situations while working closely with my team to accomplish a specific objective. New York State certified for Hazardous Materials 1, Interior Firefighter 1, Fire Fighter Mass Confidence, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Confined Space
