Evan is a highly skilled social worker with over 10 years experience in managing clients with complex needs. He has a passion for public health and actively engages with his clients to achieve the best possible outcome. He is active within his field of public health services. In 2013 he presented at the Annual Conference of Public Health of Australia. He is highly organised and client oriented with a can do attitude. He possesses sound relationship management skills, excellent communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines. Evan is adept at confronting complex problems and finding workable solutions.Evan graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelors Degree majoring in Social Work. He began his career in 2004 at Pathways in Geelong, Victoria, where he managed clients in their recovery from major mental illness and assisted in their integration back into the local community.Evan has international experience having worked in London between 2007 and 2009 for Barnet Council as a Care Co-ordinator. During his time at Barnet Council, he was heavily involved in the management of clients with severe mental illness, including risk assessment and crisis management.Upon his return to Australia, Evan was engaged as a Case Manager with the Salvation Army Australia (East Care), where he worked with clients at risk of homelessness before he obtained his current position at Alfred Health. Evan has been in his current role for almost five years, wherein he actively manages clients with complex psychosocial needs, including substance abuse, homelessness and mental illness. Whilst working at his position in Alfred Health, Evan completed his Masters in Public Health with Distinction from Deakin University.
