My extensive experience as a community organizer has made me very comfortable leading and supporting teams from diverse backgrounds while centering the voices of under served communities. I believe in living my values and have sought to build a career based around furthering equity, liberty, and justice for all members of my community. Good intentions are not sufficient on their own, and so I have sought to develop my expertise as a political organizer and advocate through frequent trainings, involvement in a wide variety of campaigns, and always seeking to leave my comfort zone. I have been a research lead, an HR assistant, a media strategist, a campaign planner, a canvasser, a mental health advocate, an event planner, a political liaison, and sometimes all of these things at once. I feel confident that my skills and expertise can be an asset in nearly any field where managing people with compassion and care is necessary.
