I grew up a homeschooled kid by two well-educated, scientifically inclined parents in an environment close to nature, where I was able to pursue my studies and hobbies at my own self-direction. At first, I wanted to be a professional artist, doing comics and animation, but after I returned to the bay area, I came to discover my true affinity for software development.You ask whether software engineering is my passion? As strong a positive feeling passion may be, it is far more unstable and prone to spoiling than the feeling I feel: when I write software, I feel all distractions and disturbances fall away until it seems as though the code is writing itself, and I'm just a body that happens to be there to observe it.As I continue my studies at San Jose State University, I'm looking for an internship at an environmentally-minded organization where I can put my software writing skills to practical use, and make something real for people in need.Github: https://github.com/EOgawa
