Engineer responsible for leading the execution of the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of oil and gas pipelines and associated facilities including pump stations, compressor stations, meter stations, truck loading / unloading facilities, and bulk storage terminals. Executed multiple projects simultaneously with responsibility of coordinating with and supporting an engineering team in a cost and schedule driven environment. Involvement across all project disciplines with experience in civil/structural and electrical design.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:• Scope development with clients to provide engineering/project cost estimates and preliminary schedules• Review and update project costs and schedule through life of project, provide weekly progress reports with earned value tracking• Development of technical specifications, documents, and procedures• Working with engineering team and CAD designers to develop design and construction drawings to the client such as PFD’s/P&IDs, piping and isometric drawings, civil/structural drawings, terminal general arrangement, and pipeline crossing drawings and alignment sheets• Perform necessary engineering calculations including but not limited to pipeline and facility hydraulics (trained in VMG), line sizing, Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP), HDD pipeline designs, tank containment sizing, and pneumatic pressure test safety distances• Sizing pumps, control valves, relief valves, compressors, meters, regulators, and other required equipment• Procurement from start to finish including preparing the specification and technical datasheets, preparing RFQ packages, comparing multiple received bids and providing informed guidance to the client, procurement tracking from order to delivery of all equipment on a project, and factory acceptance testing support• Field engineering duties to provide construction management, as-built information, and commissioning support
