During my tenure at Jump Trading, I have developed a variety of software and systems in support of several business units.I am currently working in the finance area where I am helping develop software tools and infrastructure for decision support purposes.Previously, as a member of the network engineering team, I developed software components and infrastructure enabling the automated monitoring and control of low-latency wireless transmission systems. The technologies used for this project include Python, Influx db, Jenkins, Supervisor, AWS Elastic Compute hosting, and CodeCommit for source control.I also designed, developed and managed a geographic information system (GIS), which has served to increase the research and analysis capabilities of the wireless engineering team. This system is now also used by several teams across the firm for a variety of different use cases. The scope of my work for this project includes: database schema design, creation and implementation of ETL processes for disparate data sources, development of a REST API to facilitate data and information sharing with interested parties, and the design and development of web-based visualization and analysis tools. Technologies used: Python, Petl, Flask, SAML, Nginx, Supervisor, Postgres (with GIS extensions), Google Maps Javascript API, Javascript, Jquery and AJAX.
