I provide fiduciary administration services to ultra high net worth and high net worth families. I build relationships with clients and advisors founded on trust and responsiveness. My primary administration experience is in the situses of Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut with non-trivial but less extensive experience elsewhere (Delaware, Wyoming). I have administered a variety of asset classes including closely held entities and real estate. I have worked on estate plans at every stage of their lifecycle: workshopping, drafting, funding, administering, revising, and disbursing.In the legal industry, I have done everything I can at a law firm without obtaining a law degree, from brewing coffee to training staff to vamping during a client presentation while counsel resolved an emergency.I have interviewed paralegal candidates, managed them, and audited their work product. I have liaised directly with clients and provided due diligence support in multi-million dollar real estate and corporate acquisitions, including those backed by SBA financing. I have researched and drafted pleadings in support of multi-party personal injury/lead paint exposure claims worth millions in damages. I have drafted and administered the estate plans of doctors and litigators at risk of malpractice claims. I have supported the day-to-day management and governance of international corporations, family trusts, and private trust companies. I have worked for both plaintiff and defendant in employment-related torts and civil actions, including claims for worker's compensation, wrongful discharge, discrimination, and harassment. I have prosecuted, and trained others in the prosecution of, trademark applications for international and domestic clients, supported counsel in trademark litigation and matters before the Trademark and Trial Appeal Board (TTAB), and I have managed a firm's trademark docket, including disputes, appeals, and declarations under Sections 8 and 15. Technically, I am a proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I have trained staff in e-filing through MDEC and the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission's claims database (WFMS). I have managed federal claims (PACER), as well as claims before the EEOC and MSPB. I have trained staff to leverage public tax, entity, lien search, and land records indices, and to use time management and billing software. I have overhauled a firm-wide case management system to facilitate internal communication on case priorities.
