I am currently a Finance MBA graduate student at Molloy College. I hope to use this advanced degree to achieve an entry-level finance position at either a hospital or financial firm within the New York metropolitan area. I received a Bachelor of Arts at the State University of Albany with a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology. I have decided to challenge myself and achieve an MBA in Finance to enhance my knowledge within the financial sector of business and expand my career horizons.As of right now, I am a Security Officer for NYU Langone Health. The knowledge I gained from my undergraduate education and my altruistic personality drove me to enter the security field. I am looking to transition my skills and apply them to the finance sector of business. Working at NYU Langone Health has provided me with a level of emotional intelligence that is used to ensure the safety of all patients, visitors, and staff members. Every patient and visitor that I have interacted with is going through their own personal hardships. A combination of the interpersonal skills I have gained from the security field and my expected MBA Finance degree will assist my passion in safeguarding and optimizing a better financial future for others.
