Digital Painter and Compositor for Peter Jackson's WWI documentary: They shall Not Grow Old.Work on this project included painting realistic color and lighting overtop restored, 100 year old black and white footage. Sometimes that required fully recreating details that could not be fully restored. Then comping those created assets into motion. The painting portion involved recreating backgrounds such as fields of grass and flowers, scorched earth battlefields, barbed wire covered trenches etc. Also having to paint realistic skin tones for all soldiers as well as historically accurate uniforms down to the last detail. This would be things such as patches to indicate what brigade they were in as well as dirt and mud that they would have been covered in that matched the surrounding terrain. Sometimes this had to be done for footage that included hundreds of soldiers at a time.The compositing portion included separating the paintings we had created into separate elements then tracking them properly in motion. Overall a very artistically rewarding project to work on.

Most recent project worked on was Space Jam 2 (2021)-Created Harmony scene setups for 2D feature, paperless animation to match show specifications.-Prepared assets such as; BG layouts, track reads, camera moves, audio, color palettes, character models, & client draw-overs into scenes so animators could work efficiently with proper materials.-Created lighting and shadow treatments for characters, props and environments for final comp.

Assistant to high-end food photographer whose clients included companies such as Dole, Almond Joy, and Baskin-Robbins. During shoot days I would fill the role as assistant photographer and line producer. I would also perform quick, on the spot retouching for the clients to have a view of how the final images would appear. On days we were not shooting I would organize and retouch all recent photographs as well as prepare images to be sent to clients. Doing so on a daily basis has given me proficiency in Photoshop, Light Room, Bridge, Capture One, and the proper way of shipping important materials to clients. Other duties such as instructing new interns and studio maintenance taught me discipline and the impotence of working in a clean, organized space.
