In partnership with Save on Meats, A Better Life Foundation provides a daily meal program to 850 women and children fleeing violence, street entrenched youth, and people on assisted-living.In this role, I supported the internal team in administration and communications, maintained existing and established new external partnerships for community impact, and engaged companies in a meaningful team-building program connecting people compassionately to the Downtown Eastside.True poverty reduction requires greater Vancouverite engagement. In this role, I worked closely with a seasoned sales professional to launch and grow Surgically Clean Air in the Metro Vancouver market.Together we've created awareness of indoor air quality, built key relationships and affiliations, supported new and existing clientele and opened an office to better serve our people.

Ascente is a 112' Motor Yacht that was refitted at Platinum Marine. Hired as a contractor, I managed the project.Highlights:- Prior to this, I had no experience in the boat-construction industry.- Managed 10-30 people per day, most of them being twice my age and having 100x my knowledge in various areas.- Maintained project scope, timeline, and a multimillion dollar budget.

During an internship at Quietly, I completed a wide range of activities primarily related to branded content creation and business development in a startup environment:- Curating content for customers (publishers) based on their style and target audience.- Writing a business plan.- Creating pro forma financial analyses (ie. projected revenue analysis, cash flow, income statements, budgets).- Fundraising through Government opportunities.- Conducting industry and market research and analysis.- Conducting early R&D of a two-sided content marketplace.- Leading daily team meetings.

During my university career I worked at Luvo (formerly LYFE Kitchen Retail). I was involved in the conception, growth and execution of the company, working directly for the executives. In the early days, I managed company travel and tasting events, but quickly moved into investor relations. In this role, I contributed to the development of an internal fundraising program which raised over $50M exclusively through non-institutional investments. Tasks included:- Leading the organization, marketing and management of over 30 investor events.- Maintaining investor relationships through frequent updates and communication.- Sending, organizing and processing investor paperwork (ie. NDAs, OMs and SAs).- Maintaining an investor CRM system.- Lead generation.Near the end of my tenure, I managed logistics relating to product shipments for marketing purposes while promoting the product at marketing events. Most notably, I managed food service at the Huffington Post Oasis during both the Republican and Democratic political conventions in 2012. There I spoke with and served food to hundreds of delegates, governors, journalists, executives and celebrities, while educating them on the quality food they were eating.Overall, I was involved with the growth of Luvo into 6000 grocery stores, onto Delta Airlines, and into Yankee Stadium through a partnership with Derek Jeter.
