-Promote the growth and development of Client and designer relationships.-Maintain positive working relationship with Clients, Architects and/or Engineer contacts to facilitate successful project execution.-Communicate any new project opportunities to the Division Manager and Business Development.-Contribute to presentations in industry-related organization.-With the Project Manager prepare the long term construction execution plan, allowing adequate time for proper commissioning and punch list completion.-Establish the execution plan in the form of a logical, networked project schedule. Regularly update the schedule detail and identifying issues so any delays can be addressed. -Prepare, expedite, and monitor Viewpoint logs for tracking shop drawings, contract documents, submittals, RFIs, change orders, material delivery and other as determined necessary. Execute timelyapproval of all submittals from suppliers and subcontractors.-Ensure on-time delivery of all project components and trades in the planned project sequence.-Monitor and evaluate construction progress and trade performance-Identify construction issues, problems, etc. in a timely manner.-Communicate any apparent potential legal problems to the Project Team-Execute all steps for timely project close-out.-Manage and lead the BIM coordination effort among internal and external project team members, including Project Engineers and subcontractors.-Act as “Model Administrator” for assigned project(s).-Monitor/manage the modeling process to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.-Assist project teams with review/approval of subcontractor adherence to VC guidelines, including model submittal schedule and updates, as well as updating of the model(s) to reflect as-built conditions for submittal of the record set/project closeout.-Work with Project Manager and Superintendent to guarantee models reflect as-built conditions.

-Oversee construction and new initiative assignments in 7 of RaceTrac’s 12 markets by Managing Day-to-Day Operations while providing support and development to direct reports.-Focus on building a cohesive team with Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, Maintenance, Field Personnel, Operations, and Administrative groups by performing grading systems and post project reviews.-Review PMs and APMs detailed scopes of work and plans before they are sent out to bid. -Work closely with internal and external engineers, A&D, and stakeholders to ensure project expectations are finalized before work begins. -Maintain and expand contractor relationships externally from the organization by delegating spend of upwards of 260 million dollars on various project initiatives. -Currently managing a $41.5 million dollar budget for existing store construction in 2014.-Saved $700,000 by overseeing a LED retrofit rollout to 102 RaceTrac stores by managing the project with internal resources vs. hiring a 3rd party management company. -Featured in “Commercial Construction & Renovation” magazine February 2014 as RaceTrac’s construction representative.

-Oversee multiple construction projects throughout a diverse geographical region -Manage the full life cycle of projects specifically involving renovations and remodels. -Analyze detailed architectural and engineering plans to write detailed scopes of work to be utilized for the bidding and contract process -Identify qualified contactors, solicit bids, analyze bids for completeness, cost congruency of specific line items of work and clarity of plans -Conduct pre-bid meetings, and manage approved contractors to assure the project stays on time, on budget, and within the highest quality industry standards by “on site” inspections and testing -Communicate and coordinate with store managers and contractors to assure minimal disruption of store operations -Approve and manage general contractors, schedules, deadlines, budgets, change orders, and cost overrides

-Worked directly under the superintendent on the new Locust Grove combination high school and middle school.-Responsible for multiple sectors of the high school including all MEP overhead, inspections, roofing, paint, glass, water proofing, fire proofing, and clean ups.-Attended weekly subcontractor meetings on site, and conducted meetings when the superintendent was absent. -Coordinated walks with an OSHA inspector and company staff around the entire site on an unexpected visit.-Developed relationships with subcontractors in multiple trades.-Worked in the estimating department doing take-offs for a combination high school and middle school.-Assisted the Superintendents and Project Managers on a Twenty-Eight story condominium for three months doing punch list for each individual unit, RFI’s, gathering submittals and contacting sub contractors, closeout books, sketch books, and deliveries.
