After graduating welding school at NWKTC, began working at BES in Johnstown, CO working in the fabrication shop. After becoming accustomed to general machinery and process of operations, began fitting and welding structural components and projects independently, mainly in 1F and 3F positions, although certified for 3G positions. Quickly began to learn machining processes such as metal forming using 4-pin rollers, hydraulic brake presses, manual brake presses, lathes, and mills. After 6 months of employment job title was changed to machinist, as primary individual in charge of forming parts (I.e. pipe clamps, structural components to pressure vessels, re-pads for vessels, wear pads for vessel legs, small vessel shells, pipe weld sleeves, etc.), meanwhile continuing to fit and weld structural projects for the entirety of 2019. As of the beginning of 2020, certified for 6G pipe in GMAW and began fitting pipe in accordance to blueprints. Additionally began welding pipe in position, as well as rolling out on a positioner. All welding following code B31.3. As of August 2020, voluntarily resigned Blackeagle Fabrication to work as a laborer and fitter under Wiegand GmbH, building a mountain coaster in Estes Park, Colorado. Tasks include fitting track pipes according to blueprints and welding in leg plates, setting footers, measuring and cutting legs, and assembling all parts, as well as anchoring all footers with 3/4” rebar nails.Beginning in February 2021, began working at High Plains Machine Works Inc., which has since become High Plains Machine Llc. Tasks encompass a broad spectrum. All scopes of welding used on a regular basis including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and brazing. Regularly performed maintenance on oil pumps, disassembling gear boxes, chain boxes, and bearings to be rebuilt and repaired. Responsibilities also included operation of lathes, end mills, hydraulic presses, shears, breaks, overhead cranes, and winch trucks. Additionally, welding surface pipe, rod liners, poor boys, and cut offs was common. While working at High Plains Machine, also began working part time at Calvery’s Creations Bits as a welder. Responsibilities included prepping and fitting material and parts for horizontal drilling bits, hole openers, reamers and pull heads.
