-Ensure that all projects (up to 18) are prepped and ready to go with all necessary field equipment-Maintain fleet of 15 vehicles -Provide technical and other assistance to crew in the field-Travel to crews on a regular basis, ensuring they have what they need and clarify or answer any questions that could arise-Crew scheduling for up to 115 crew members and 18 projects with various needs and restrictions-Ensure that crews properly de-rig their equipment and vehicles upon their return to Flagstaff-Provide technical or field assistance to any other department who may need it (trails, restoration, fencing)-Mentor crew leaders to become frontrunners in the professional world of conservation-Assist crew members with their professional and personal goals while in our employment (Review cover letters/resumes; assist with contacts and interview questions)-Interviewing and hiring of new crew leaders and senior staff-Assist with writing project reports and documentation of crew work-Visiting project partners pre and post-project to ensure everything ran smoothly and also to see where we can improve-Assist with and develop trainings and orientations of both crew leaders and crew members -On call most weekends to ensure someone can respond to an incident or emergency in the field-Train every member in safe and responsible pesticide handling and application-Trained and certified by EPA and AZ Department of Agriculture to perform state and federally recognized trainings and certifications in pesticide usage -Teach Leave No Trace ethics to all members-Meet with crew leaders and members to discuss challenges, issues, concerns, and to answer questions they may have about logistics, professional development, and upcoming skills trainings

-Training up and coming crew leaders in the field how to effectively perform their job duties-Mentoring new crew leaders in the field during their first few projects-Mentored several Grand Canyon trails crew leaders, US Fish and Wildlife crew leaders, as well as trained several federal employees in chainsaw use, safety, and operation-Assisted with project management and post-project data
