As a History and Social Sciences graduate from Radford University turned Full Stack Developer, my journey has been anything but linear - reflecting my inherent adaptability, eagerness for lifelong learning, and strong work ethic. In academia, my leadership skills shone through when I served as the President of my fraternity, aiding the transformation from a colony to a chartered chapter. Today, those same principles guide me in the world of software development, allowing me to leverage my skills to create dynamic, efficient, and innovative solutions.What started as an interest in video games and music production soon evolved into a deep fascination with the inner workings of technology, motivating me to complete an intense coding bootcamp through Virginia Tech, in partnership with FullStack Academy. This rigorous training, coupled with my previous experiences in customer service roles at Kroger, Rack Room Shoes, and Barnes & Noble, has prepared me to not only develop, but also empathize with the end-user, creating an enhanced user experience.My stint as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and as a Substitute Teacher was instrumental in refining my interpersonal, managerial, and problem-solving abilities. These roles taught me to see challenges as opportunities, a mindset I bring to software development every day.Now, as I transition into a career as a Software Developer/Engineer, I'm excited to contribute to a team that values friendship, sound learning, and rectitude as much as I do.
