• The National Bahá'í Centre is the headquarters of the National Spiritual Assembly of the United Kingdom, a registered charity overseeing the affairs of the Bahá'í community in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.• Employed in a senior position in the Secretariat. • Responsibilities include assisting the Secretary directly; coordinating staff and the workflow of the department, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently; delegating and monitoring work; fostering a united team spirit; drafting formal communications; copy editing; working with classified material; and ensuring proper documentation of office policies and procedures. • Role requires a high level of management experience, organization, and writing ability.

• Collaborated on two global film productions, entitled "Light to the World" and "A Widening Embrace", which explored the oneness of humanity and community-building efforts around the world. • Responsibilities included traveling around the world to conduct seminars and workshops for grassroots media teams to enable local populations to document their own learning through media. • Also responsible for scriptwriting, conducting interviews, filming on location, camerawork, video editing, overseeing paper edits to ensure the coherence of the narratives, and coordinating the efforts of more than 50 filmmaking teams and individuals who contributed to the productions.

• Worked as the Senior Aide to an International Advisor overseeing community development programmes across the world. • Responsibilities included drafting reports and formal correspondence; researching information on a range of topics; following developments in more than 20 national communities, particularly in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific; preparing country and regional analyses; and working with classified material. • Administrative duties focused on facilitating the workflow of the office; delegating work to my Support Secretary; collaborating with other staff; analyzing budgets; coordinating travel arrangements to many countries; and helping to organize a major international conference with delegates from every continent. • Position required strong writing ability, organizational skills, and multi-tasking.

• Worked as a scriptwriter and a lead editor on a global film production, entitled "To Serve Humanity", a documentary about a series of 114 youth conferences held in locations all over the world. • Responsibilities included assembling paper edits; developing a workflow for categorizing hundreds of hours of footage, in various formats, sent in by media teams from around the globe; creating a system for translating the footage into English so that it could be edited; and producing subtitled versions in Arabic, French, Russian, and Spanish, as well as a Persian-dubbed version. • The film was released online and on DVD.

• Pioneer High School. • Taught multiple 9th and 10th grade classes of English, including one for advanced 10th graders. • Planned and implemented California standards-based curricula and modified lessons to accommodate varying skill levels. • Developed a multimodal system of instruction that targeted different learning styles, incorporating music, artwork, kinesthetic activities, and graphic novels into various lessons.

• Grant Union High School. • Taught a 9th grade “English as a Second Language” class and a 12th grade English Language Arts class. • Developed specific units, with consideration for English language learners, on thematic literature, public speaking, student debate, dramatic literature, and senior research papers. • Utilized interactive technology in the classroom, including computer instruction and media-related activities.

• Traveled to India to film and edit a series of short documentaries for the Bahá’í House of Worship in New Delhi. Shot on location in four states in North and South India, the films are routinely shown at the House of Worship's Information Centre. • Traveled to Uganda to film a documentary in the West Nile region for an NGO known as Uplift Uganda. The film chronicles the progress of a literacy program that has had a dramatic impact on the country’s rural population. • Traveled across the United States to film and edit "Youth at the Forefront", a documentary that tells the story of youth engaged in community-building activities. • Worked as an editor to create promotional hype reels for musical talent.

• Taught a Form 3 Film Theory and Production course. • Developed a complete curriculum for high school cinema production, complete with film history, film theory, scriptwriting, production, and editing. • Taught an after-school Introductory Art course.• Taught Human Development classes, in which students learned about ethics and virtues.
