Offered increased royalty as consideration in exchange for the right to represent the mineral owners and force lessees to release leases that were arguably not held by production (non-hbp). Mitigated the risk of a title suit and litigation by negotiating with an oil and gas law firm to defend the company on contingency. Maintained an ~85% conversion rate for lessors. Was able to divest a percentage of the acreage for a large multiple. Divested 10% of acquired leasehold in Feb 2010 for a 243.23% return over 28 months.
