SPUG produces an impressive array of Microgreens, which are a gourmet chef's produce item and a nutrient-dense superfood. Through my short tenure with the company, I became skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of microgreen production, including varietal specifics such as germination rates, pathogen susceptibilities, time to maturity, yield, harvesting techniques, shelf life maximization, etc. Once the company expanded and we had dedicated growers, I focused exclusively on Sales and Marketing. I established trusted relationships with the top restaurants in downtown Raleigh, including those in restaurant groups Empire Eats, JMR Kitchens, Ashley Christensen Restaurants, and others.
