Manage the City's MSQ2 program (formerly referred to our Drainage Masterplan Study program), which involves a series of comprehensive studies aimed to reduce flooding risk across the City of Memphis by studying a drainage basin's conveyance system with a holistic approach. Managed the City's Stormwater Infrastructure Rehabilitation Contract from 2014 through 2019, which includes the determination of repairs needed, design of the repairs, and coordinating these repairs with the contractor. Handle drainage issues brought to the attention of the engineering division such as with failed infrastructure, flooding, or environmental permitting for projects. Respond to citizen concerns via phone/letter/email/in person in a timely manner.Assist the other senior design engineers as needed with their projects, which include but are not limited to CADD work, cost estimates, preparing bid packages and filling out required documents.Handle non-stormwater related projects such as GIS maping for CIP repaving projects and minor road design.
