Evan Bright is a dedicated and high achieving senior accounting major at Texas A&M with a GPA of 3.82. He is currently enrolled in the Professional Program in Accounting where he is achieving his BBA in Accounting with a MS in Financial Management. Evan is dedicated to the world of accounting and aspires to also complete his CPA license. Evan has a strong aptitude for leadership, in his first year at college he was elected as community council president for Hart hall. In his position he strived to provide multiple solutions to enhance the livability of the hall, while also creating an inclusive environment for all his peers to benefit from. Continuing to display his maverick personality Evan also founded the TAMU Guitar Club. In this club he was able to help spread his passion of music to other students and help create a space of learning to give others insight on music theory. Evan also participated in other leadership activities like being a member of Aggie Leaders of Tomorrow.Evan focuses on giving back to his community and participates in philanthropic organizations such as Aggies Against Cancer and did volunteer work in his men's organization Aggie Business Kings. Evan has had a continued avocation for charity work and has spent numerous hours giving back prior to college in his scouting program. There he volunteered in organizations such as Mobile Loaves and Fishes. Evans' greatest contribution came in his Eagle Scout project restoring the outdoor walking trail of St. Michael's Church in Austin. Evan is a lifelong learner and his personal hobbies include bodybuilding, guitar, everything to do with the outdoors, and reading.
