My interest in photography began during my four year travels in Asia, starting 2005, where I got my start shooting large events: public, private, and government. My freelance work led to partnerships with publications (print and internet), covering primary subjects such as fashion, celebrity, music, figures of interest, current events, social events, magazine covers, editorials, etc. I've stayed in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, and numerous other cities across mainland China. Amazed that Asia was originally just a simple two week vacation idea for me - and that I've never returned home until four years later - I finally departed to Los Angeles in 2009 to enrich my knowledge and skill level in photography. I began working for Milk Studios in Los Angeles, CA in 2009 where I've also worked with many famed photographers - either directly assisting or indirectly such as production - over the course of two+ years. Most notable are photographers such as Nick Knight, Craig Mcdean, Mert & Marcus, Patrick Demarchelier, Greg Kadel, Michel Comte, Camilla Akrans, Tom Munro, Art Streiber, and so forth. I've since left Milk Studios to freelance / assist photographers who I've met while working at Milk Studios, which eventually led to a full time position with famed fashion photographer Michel Comte towards the beginning of 2011until the end of 2011 (2nd to 1st assistant). I left Comte to return back to freelance for the most part of 2012. During this time, I was also involved with test shooting models from large agencies such as Ford, Elite, Willhemina, Nous, and so forth.On January of 2013, I was hired to work with world renowned fashion and celebrity photographer David Lachapelle, who I currently work for as photographer assistant, studio assistant, and occasionally even as his personal assistant in Hollywood, CA. So far, this has been the greatest part of my journey in photography.
