As Director of Preconstruction, I am responsible for leading a team through the estimating process, development of complete and accurate estimates, bid day evaluations, subcontractor relations, maintaining current pricing standards as well as leading the buyout effort. I am also responsible for career development and training of estimators as well as estimate reviews.I provide leadership, mentoring and training of others in the department. Assist in managing the resources of the preconstruction staff including hiring activities. Directly supervise the preconstruction team including planning, assigning and directing work. Conceptual estimator working on a wide range of project types and sizes including retail, educational, health care, offices, warehouses and other commercial work up to 150 million dollars.Hard bid project work including solicitation of bids, estimate assembly, general conditions estimates and final bid.Experienced using On-Screen Take-Off, Timberline Estimating, MC2 and Destini Estimator.Specialties: Conceptual estimating and preconstruction services from site development through construction documents including managing the budget.
