- Engages individuals in identifying needs, developing treatment plans, and providing on-going support as required. Support may include counselling, life skills development, accompaniment, crisis management, advocacy, and information and referral.- Assess (triage) individual referred to the MH&J Program.* Assist MH&J clients with accessing treatment programs, legal & counseling services, housing & housing supports and addictions-related services, along their recovery journey through the justice system.* Monitors and ensures compliance with all legal conditions including program.

- Assist residents with their reintegration into the community, by providing them access to various resources in the GTA - Providing one on one and group sessions to address the following needs: employability, education, vocational training- Connecting with other community based agencies, with the intention of expanding resource network.   - Provide in-house training to residents and staff.- Complete the initial intake on new residents.

- Community Residential Facility (W.P Archibald Centre) for men on supervised, parole releaseResponsibilities- Be familiar with all relevant client information including PBC conditions, offence pattern, risk/needs factors and family concerns.- Make appropriate decisions based upon the above information, in compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.- Document all significant contact with clients, using the client daily logs, the log book or an incident report as the situation dictates.- Develop interpersonal relationships with the clients in order to assist in the attainment of the clients’ goals.
