A graduate of the Creative Communications Program at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Evan is an award-winning journalist, photographer, communications, and marketing professional. Evan currently works with UpHouse as a public relations specialist, primarily working on the Corteva Agriscience Canada account. Previously, he worked with Richardson International as a Content Marketing Specialist, where he was part of the creative communications team. The team was tasked with creating and executing marketing and communications strategies. He's also worked with Dooley PR & Marketing on accounts such as ADAMA Canada, Roquette, Ford Canada, Ubisoft, RNDSQR, and the Manitoba Government.Before his corporate communications and agency work, Evan worked as an award-winning journalist for seven years, eventually winning the Manitoba Community Newspaper Association's awards for Best Sports Story, Best Agriculture Story and Best Health Story in 2020. During his tenure with the Rocky Mountain Goat Newspaper, the organization took home the 2017 BCYCNA Newspaper Excellence Award. Over the years, Evan has been published in The Express Weekly News Group, The Jasper Local, The Fitzhugh, The Rocky Mountain Goat Newspaper, and Metro News Winnipeg, among other media outlets.He is also a freelance photographer, designer, communications, media relations, and marketing specialist, having worked with organizations such as Rockslinger Services, RentItOrNot.com, Lot-Sixty Five, and Little Peak Boutique; as well as local bands including Seven By Seven and Calendar Pages.
