In my role as Financial Operations Coordinator at The Church of Eleven22, I am responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of financial operations across multiple facets of our ministry, including Church operations, Hope’s Closet retail, and The Retreat Center. My key responsibilities include:Processing, verifying, and posting invoices, disbursements, auto drafts, and cash receipts.Documenting all financial transactions with precision, ensuring accurate records for Church operations, retail, and retreat activities.Supporting the month-end close process, specifically focusing on contributions and accounts payable.Processing journal entries related to contributions and reconciling bank statements and general ledger entries to maintain financial integrity.Addressing and resolving congregant giving questions, providing clear communication and support.Upholding stringent accounting controls and procedures to safeguard financial data.Assisting with additional accounting projects, all while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.My role is integral to the financial stewardship and operational efficiency of The Church of Eleven22, allowing our organization to focus on its mission of community service and spiritual growth.
