Responsible for advising USACE senior leaders, major subordinate commands, centers and field operation agencies. I also help others with quality control, streamlining operations and the removal of fraudulent accounts. I have directly supported the removal of 28k+ fraudulent accounts in this role.Following my first year in this role, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters was recognized with first place honors in the Herbert A. Kassner Public Affairs Competition for new media initiatives.In times of disaster, USACE is the lead agency for Emergency Support Function #3 (Public Works And Engineering) for the National Response Framework. In this capacity, I’ve coordinated social media efforts for hurricane events including Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, Michael, and Ida as well as other natural disasters such as engineering support to the national COVID-19 response.

Researched emerging trends, provided training and recommended new communication strategies.Provided traditional public affairs support to the command including story and photographic coverage.Noteworthy accomplishments included the achievement of over 25,000 connections through Facebook and the development of methods to streamline e-book production. Developed command-level iOS and Android application. Provided extensive photographic support for dignitary visits including Secretary of the Army John McHugh and Under Secretary of the Army Joseph Westphal.Facilitated the transition to new layouts for IMCOM and MWR social presences by designing and implementing new Facebook visuals in March 2012 and Twitter visuals in September 2012.Additional responsibilities included maintaining a government purchase card and, between June 2012 and December 2012, utilizing TLMS software to complete time cards for non-appropriated fund (NAF) personnel within the Public Affairs Office.During this time frame, I also produced several iOS apps of a military nature, including "Army Civilians" and "Military Questions." These were produced personally, but help to improve my app production techniques.
