From a young age I have been very business driven and fascinated by the business world. I even started my own lawn mowing business in middle school where I had to learn to reach out to my neighbors and to acquire consistent clients. This all led me to where I am now where I work for a small, family-owned Lego business, which I have been a part of for over two years.I decided to major in marketing because I am creatively wired, and I also love figuring out what people are interested in. Another main reason why I chose to go the marketing route is because I love to solve problems and to figure out what works in a situation and what doesn’t. I am a detail-oriented person and love working on things that have a high level of detail, which is why I am fascinated by the analytical side of marketing and is the main reason why I decided to study marketing as my major. Some of my hobbies have been the driving force behind me choosing marketing. My favorite hobby of building with Lego, which I have been doing since the age of four, has brought out my fascination with detail. My other favorite hobby of watching movies has made me appreciate all of the intricacies that go into making a film and I would love to one day work in marketing in the film industry. I am looking to connect with others who have had experience in marketing so that I can get a clearer idea of what my career may look like in the future.
