Howdy! I am a current graduate student (Ph.D.) in Astronomy/Astrophysics and Astrobiology at Penn State University. I graduated from The Ohio State University where I earned my B.S. with a double major in Astronomy/Astrophysics and Physics in May 2021. I received my Masters in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Penn State University in August 2024.Currently my research focuses on exoplanet detection, specifically on methods for extreme precision radial velocity detection, enabling us to find Earth-like planets around Sun-like stars. Broadly I’m interested in better understanding planetary habitability, the evolution of life, and how to detect it in and out of the solar system. I aspire to one day lead missions onto other bodies in the solar system to search for life signatures.I strive to have a career that equally balances my interests in service, health, and science. I hope to be able to leave a lasting impact on the world and promote a message of strong mental and physical health, while also making great advances in the scientific world.
