I also perform account reconciliations and trend analysis for all assigned accounts, coordinate account functions such as balance sheet and bank reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger system and subsystem interfacing. Additional responsibilities include: generating necessary reports and participating in related monthly accounting activities to ensure a timely ledger close; research information requests and respond to issues involving specific general ledger accounts; monitor compliance with GAAP and company procedures.
