Evan Ling was born in Taiwan and earned a Ph.D. in Metallurgy from Georgia Tech. He later found his passion in stock investments, and began his career in financial services at Merrill Lynch in 1988. He served as Resident Manager of the City of Industry office in the mid 90s, that focused its service on Asian American and Intl clients. He joined UBS in 2015.He holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation, and is a qualified Sr. Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, UBS model portfolios, and 3rd party investment strategies. Evan has been active in the community serving on various boards, including FAPA, Chinatown Service Center. He enjoys staying active and has completed 2 marathons. He also enjoys hiking, gardening, tennis, and golf.
